Nevertheless, the day was well spent. The weather was too good to be missed. A rare treat in Boston. After Dim sum, we went for a walk at the Commons and saw a very cute hybrid puppy. Sakuras in full bloom, green grass sprouting, ppl strolling and walking, cycling, enjoying the wonderful holiday and sun. It has been some time since many ppl left home to enjoy the sun here.

Later, we strolled back along Newbury St/Boylston St and watched the marathon. It was kind of fun. All sorts of ppl from all over the world participated in the run. Young, old, frail, atheletic, male, female, serious, fun ppl were in the run. Spectators roared and cheered for the runners especially when some looked very tired or when someone came running with someone in wheelchair. There are also families who participated. Son running with dad holding a sign that reads "Cheer for my dad!" with an arrow pointing to his dad... it was a memorable sight.
