The war is over...

I've finally finished my last paper! and of course my MIDI project. It didn't turn out too bad, just average, I'd say. I was surprised that the tracks mix were pretty uneven. It didn't sound like this when I was editing it on the workstation. Whatever it is, it's over. period. I shall not think so much anymore. Will just make sure I bounce the track to audio in the future before completing the whole project.

It has been a great semester thus far. I'm getting used to the jargons and terms used here and getting the hook on harmony terms. haha... secondary dominants, sub V, minor 7 flat 5, augmented, diminshed, scale modes, tritone...

going to NYC in two days time and the public system there just started a strike!! how could they?! *sigh* just hope things will improve/resume in 2 days time. Otherwise, I'll have to spend more time and money on queues and cabs!

Now I'm up for 2 more missions, Traditional Harmony and Counterpoint 1 test out. I've gotta study for those.

Other than that, the weather here is getting warmer, and chances of snow are low... i miss the snow. It was so fun... Well, it's either the weather is getting warmer, or I'm getting more used to the coldness. Whatever it is, just hope that by the time I return to Singapore/Malaysia, I won't be afraid of the heat. I miss the SUN!! and my TAN!

ok, time to sleep - finally...
