Recently did a search on the humanitarian work engineers do around the world. Since there's "Doctors without borders", I bet there is "Engineers without Borders" too.
- Bringing clean water to villages who don't have access to clean water
- Educating farmers to use technology to improve their farming efficiency
- Bringing computers to the illiterate
- Bringing electricity to those who doesn't have access to the most basic modern need
- Bringing internet to the more developed countries, to bridge the technological gap between countries
