managed to contact a friend in london. thank god she's ok. she was staying 60km from central london.
i think it's incredible that 500 trains running at that time with millions of commuters suffer only minor casualties. i was watching bbc yesterday. i think therespective bodies were very efficient in handling the matter. within a few hours of the incident, they were able to set up a conference and provide sufficient information on what had happened and the extent of the damage.
Kudos to the london.

boston has the 3rd largest train network next to nyc and washington. i just read online that there were reports of possible attacks on US rail system, including boston. well, if my time's up, my time's up, i suppose.

there was this oz guy whose time's definitely not up yet. he was in bali, experienced the bombing just minutes after he left the bar bombed and was also minutes from london's king cross station when the bombing occurred. i can only imagine the trauma he had to go through. maybe the intelligence should get his contact. he may be a psychic after these 2 incidents...

despite these main course news, i believe i'll still enjoy my time in boston...

kelly from the agency contacted me... gotta fill in some application forms before signing the lease. doh...
